Wooden lamellas / razor blades

A bold and extremely phenomenal architectural procedure is the use of BSH wood with large cross -sections as a decorative element of the building. Seriously, the elements mounted make the structure majestic. The orderly and minimalist blocks of the building take on a cordial character thanks to the natural raw material, which is wood. The whole creates a harmonious picture of minimalist blocks close to nature.

Lamelles are made of laid glued BSH. BSH wood is a structural wood that is formed in the process of gluing single boards 4 cm thick. Before gluing, the boards are dried chamber, which provides them with dimensional stability and increases biological resistance. The way it is produced is practically completely eliminating the presence of large scratches and cracks on the surface of beams. In the BSH beams, due to the process of formation, the occurrence of natural wood defects to a minimum (minimum amount of knots, no turns, lack of fibers, lack of jackets, lack of mold and fungi). An important feature of lamellas made of BSH wood is the planed surface. The plane wood has greater biological resistance and is less susceptible to weather conditions.

Thanks to these advantages, BSH wood has a wide range of applications in single -family housing, but not only. BSH wood is also used in garden architecture, e.g. for the construction of roofs, pergolas, car world.

The selection of cross -sections of individual lamellas determines the effect. The greater the cross -sections of the elements, the greater the impression of stability, strength, durability; In contrast, thinner - more slender lamellas/razor blades increase the lightness and shooting of the structure, optically enlarge the body of the building. Looking at an angle, these wooden razor blades give the impression that the building was made completely of wood.

There are no strictly defined dimensions of lamellas, in each case aesthetic considerations and individual client preferences decide.
