Gaper (Apuleia Leiocarpa) is an exotic deciduous tree, growing in the forests of Amazon, southern Brazil and on the Coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
The color of the wood is very interesting-from yellow beige to yellow-brown, sometimes passing into orange and light brown.
Garapa is characterized by high hardness and stability. It is also a species that copes well with the harmful effects of weather conditions, rot or insects. It is also characterized by the possibility of dark spots - but not affecting the quality of wood.
- His durability class is estimated at 2-3.
- Terrace board - 21 × 145 mm

Terrace boards from this species should be delivered to the assembly site a few days before the planned start of work. They must acclimatize to temperature and moisture.
Boards made of garage are distinguished by high density and alkaline properties - this should be remembered when choosing a wood oil, because not everyone will be well absorbed.
This species of wood is ideal for external use due to durability and density. It is comparable to IPE in this respect, although it is cheaper.
It shows natural resistance to scratches, which means that the grooved surface of the terrace board will not be destroyed over the years.
Variable weather conditions, UV rays or settling dust change the color of wood to silver -gray. To avoid this, terrace wood oiling is recommended. The terrace preserved in this way will not be patinated. There will also be no problem with cleaning it by brushing.
