How to assess whether the terrace requires oil to be secured again? When the boards begin to gray, and therefore change your color to silver gray, then oiling is necessary. However, the oil covering may be insufficient so that the boards regain their former color. So how do you say it's time?
Oiling boards on the terrace
will help us a simple water absorption test. Pour a bucket of water into the boards, and then watch what will happen. If the boards absorb water, it means that oil covering should be performed. However, if the water persists on the terrace surface, you can not do this procedure yet.
In the case of a relatively new, several-year terrace, it should be poured with water, and then sweep this water along the groove. When dealing with an older terrace, a special terrace cleaning agent and/or a green coating agent may be helpful. In this case, follow the instructions.

A larger brush will increase the pace of work in "free space". After applying the first layer of oil, wait just before applying the second layer, the warmer the shorter the moment.
Before you can use the terrace again, the safest to wait two full days, because although it will be dry now, it will still leave traces of clothes. For safety, you can drain the terrace with water before use. We recommend applying subsequent layers carefully, because in the case of wood oil more, it does not mean better.
