Terraces oil

March 26, 2018

When assembling the terraces, we conducted a lot of tests, thanks to which we chose oil, which in our subjective assessment works best. That is why we recommend these oils. They penetrate wood, saturating its fibers, protecting them from external factors.

A very important feature that our oil has and it is not visible immediately after application is its durability. This is associated with its hydrogenity. When applying, it penetrates the wood and does not create coatings, which does not crack over time, do not peel and do not fall off. Over time, this agent is rinsed off the boards.

Coral
oil oil should only be rubbed into a dry decking surface, the minimum temperature at which the oiling process can be performed is 5 degrees Celsius. A brush with hard bristles will be helpful. We do not recommend painting rollers for this type of operation because it occurs with their use too high oil consumption, and the boards will not be covered thoroughly. When applying the oil with a brush to the surface, avoid the formation of stains. It is also better to apply a thin layer on wood several times than once too thick.

As with other means in which linseed oil is contained, there is a risk of ignition. When the wood surface is covered with this oil, special attention should be paid to order and caution. After completing the work, used rags should be placed in a trash bin. Brushes and oil are recommended in metal tanks.

The next chapter will discuss the ways of terrace care, which will tell you how to restore the natural glow of wood, the one that was immediately after assembly. However, if the rush of everyday life means that you do not have enough time to take care of the care of boards, we recommend ordering these works to our specialists who will perform them professionally.
